2025 JACOBSON HOUSE ART BIENNIAL OCT 24 - DEC 19

The first biennial of contemporary Indigenous American art by Native artists living in the south central plains region of the United States! The Jacobson House Art Biennial is an art competition and exhibition that occurs every two years at the iconic Jacobson House Native Art Center in Norman, Oklahoma! A prestigious Indigenous art event, the Jacobson House Art Biennial explores cultural discourses from the perspective of current arts productions, promoting contemporary Indigenous art and cultural exchange, while reflecting upon the history of Indigenous art in the birthplace of Native American fine art.

The first year of the Jacobson House Art Biennial took place in Fall of 2023 ("Twenty First Century" Art Exhibition). For its return in 2025, the biennial has opened up to artists of any U.S. Federally Recognized Tribe currently living in Oklahoma and neighboring states: Texas, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Missouri and Arkansas.
